Kabob House

We visited Kabob House in San Diego and had a wonderful experience. We ordered the combo plate, both the beef and chicken kabobs were incredibly juicy, soft, and fresh. The shawarma plate was equally delicious, the chicken was tender, and the fries were crisp and perfectly seasoned. As a nice touch, they served us a complimentary lentil soup, which was flavorful. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area - great food, generous portions, and genuinely kind service!

I got the Kabob and it was quite a large portion. It wasn’t as authentic as a Persian Kabob but it did taste very good. The place needs to be more updated and at least look and sound more like a Persian kabob house. Maybe play some Persian music instead of hip hop?

Was in the area and had this place for the first time. This is actually some of the best hummus that I've ever had. And, I'm picky about hummus. The potato salad was great. The yellow rice was cooked great not hard nor overcooked. The cuscus I thought I wasn't going to care for, but it was delicious. It tastes like something you would taste at someone's home very comforting. Everything was great and speedy. Parking is kind of busy, but I was able to find street parking around 2pm.

UPDATE This last visit was way off, different cooks, management or standards, The Price have gone up as well. ----- We were pleasantly surprised with our order, the portions were above average, everything we tried was really good, and prices seemed right on Our service was excellent, so overall we had a great time. The only constructive suggestions would be to spurs up the place or provide easy refills.

Excellent food with large quantities. The plates come with lots of rice and two side dishes of your choice. Service was helpful and friendly. The dining area is low key but comfy. All in all, definitely recommend!
