This place I Googled “Caribbean restaurant” while in the area and it was 14 minutes away. Upon entering I was greeted with a warm and sincere Caribbean smile. I immediately realized from the menu it was a Guyanese restaurant. I definitely wanted curry because I know I was going to get a good meal. They absolutely surpassed my expectations. The food was fantastic, well seasoned and sufficiently portioned. I had the curry fish with Dal Pahri instead of rice. I was totally satisfied both in tastes and quality. The atmosphere was classic Caribbean style with elegance and ambiance that reminded me of back home in the Antigua 🇦🇬. Stopped in for the chicken fried rice and I’m glad I did. The chicken was fresh, delicious, and really flavorful - you can tell they’re using quality ingredients. Portions were solid too, definitely got my money’s worth. What really stood out though was the atmosphere. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted at the door and the entire staff was smiling and welcoming. That kind of genuine hospitality makes a huge difference. Highly recommend Kaieteur Tropical Mist if you’re looking for great food and even better service!

A MUST VISIT! They were able to accommodate a same day reservation for 12 people with ease. When we got there, our wonderful server Gail got us seated right away. It was our first time there, so Gail was also very kind to explain the menu, portions, and recommendations. She took our order with precision, with our drinks coming right away, and our appetizers and entrees coming surprisingly fast for an order for 11 people. And most importantly, THE FOOD. The food was quite simply incredible. The fried chicken, jerk chicken, the snapper, the duck, the lamb, the black pudding, the curries with dhal puri….. simply amazing. Cooked so well we were all floored. Overall, amazing service and food. Thank you Gail and Kaieteur for the wonderful Guyanese food experience!

Kaietuer Tropical Mist LLC has the best Guyanese Chinese food in Florida! The chicken fry rice and chicken chow mein were very delicious. The food was so delicious we went there twice in less than a week. Jerk lamb and roast duck appetizers melted in your mouth. They also sell Guyana plait bread, tennis rolls, salara, salt sev, fry split peas and the list goes on. They have Bedesse cream soda, no other cream soda compares. This is the first place that I’ve found real tamarind candy it has tamarind pepper and sugar not just the tamarind and sugar like the fake versions out there. Seating was quick and the staff was friendly and welcoming.

I forgot one more thing. The hospitality customer service is wonderful Gail has a beautiful smile and make you feel welcome. The atmosphere is very smooth. The music is wonderful. I brought my nine-year-old son here. He loves the chicken curry.
