Kali Cooks NYC Food Truck

I had heard a lot about this truck for a while, so when I was down the beach last week, I decided to finally give it a try — and I was NOT disappointed. My wife had a single smash burger, which was great — full of flavor and seriously messy (in the best way). I had the Chicken Truffle Jawn, which was also delicious, flavorful, and perfectly messy. We also ordered the Louisiana hot fries, and they were fantastic. We left completely satisfied and definitely not hungry. Beyond the food, Kali was incredibly nice, friendly, and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great meal from a friendly, talented chef.

Restaurants beware—Kali Cooks is taking over! I stumbled on this hidden gem in New Dorp Beach and let me tell you, I haven’t stopped thinking about it since. A fine dining chef serving out of a hot dog truck? Only in NYC—and it works. The bacon burger was hands down one of the best I’ve had in Staten Island, juicy and loaded with flavor. The fries? Think curly fry flavor and crispness, just in a straight cut—addictive. And the pizza… wow. Thin crust, perfectly cooked, zero flop—NY style at its best. You can tell there’s serious skill behind this menu. I’ll definitely be back, and you should run (not walk) to try it for yourself!

Just had the absolute best experience at Kali Cooks NYC food truck! We ordered the Hot Mess and wow—it was insanely delicious! Full of flavor, perfectly cooked, and definitely lived up to the name in the best way possible. My son, who’s a notoriously picky eater, devoured his entire kids’ cheeseburger (a miracle in itself!). Kali was incredibly sweet and welcoming, making the whole visit even more enjoyable. The location is super cute, and I can’t wait to go back on a sunny day and enjoy the full vibe. I can’t wait to work my way through the rest of the menu—if everything’s as good as what we had, I’m in for a treat! Highly recommend!

Kali’s food truck has the absolute best burgers!!! Super fresh and delicious!!! Just had the cowboy burger and loaded fries!!! This is a must try for everyone!! Ordered from DoorDash and it’s still super hot and packed well!
