Kang Seo Restaurant

This has been my favorite Korean restaurant in ATL for years. The food is excellent with best flavors with clean taste. There is so much good banchan. Service is great. Atmosphere is excellent. Everything I’ve had there has been excellent including yukgaejang and bossam to highlight a couple. Highly rec this place.

This place ended up being our second choice, as the restaurant we initially planned to visit was undergoing renovations on that scorching summer day. Adapting to the situation, we decided to try their marinated goat meat hot pot (보양전골), which turned out to be quite satisfactory. The hot pot came brimming with an ample amount of goat meat, including the goat skin. However, the dipping sauce for the meat was a tad overly sweet, and the selection of fresh vegetables was somewhat limited. The presentation of the hot pot was average, neither exceptional nor disappointing. On the service front, we received good attention. Recommend this seolruntang place. They have all bone soups and other Korean dishes. However, they are apecialized in bone soups. Their tendons soup was in great shape and all good sized. Very busy reataurant and many Older Korean people come here because it is authentic. Must try if you are a local or in town. However, do not order haemulpachun (mixed seafood pancake), it is $18 but disappointed priduct. Other places might give you extra soup broth, but here they want you to order another bowl.

I ate seolleongtang and it tasted okay, not particularly delicious or bad. Feel like home-cooked food you usually eat at home? The side dishes were decent, but only kakdugi was served and no cabbage kimchi.

Authentic Korean restaurant. The food is hot and spicy, super good for winter time, definitely warm you up. We have the soup and the octopus dishes. All tastes delicious.
