Kanji Sushi Hibachi - Mount Pleasant

The food is delicious, authentic, and prepared with great care. The sushi is amazing, but what truly makes this place special is the kind and respectful service. The owner and his team are incredibly attentive; they even gifted me a Japanese drink, a small gesture that says a lot about their hospitality and love for their culture. I always look forward to coming back.

I was up in MOUNT PLEASANT for medical reasons and needed to find a nice place for lunch. I am SO HAPPY that I stumbled across KANJI SUSHI HIBACHI in ANNA KNAPP PLAZA. I had the teriyaki chicken with fried rice ( with NO SESAME SEEDS as I can't eat seeds ). The food was fresh , delicious , fairly priced and plentiful . The interior of the restaurant was spotless and clean and the owner was kind and service focused. When I am back in Mount Pleasant I will DEFINITELY go there again. If you live anywhere near Anna Knapp Plaza , I strongly recommend you visit Kanji. You will not be disappointed !!!

The absolute BEST Hibachi in town!! Everything was hot and fresh when i picked it up. My husband and I both got the Steak Hibachi and it was perfect, the rice is to die for, and the veggies are perfectly cooked. We will return for more, and if you’re nervous about trying it, take my review as a sign to try it!!

Ineatable! Do not order on Uber eats!!!! Their version of spicy tuna was some mashed version of tuna. The soy sauce was cut with oil. Every roll was mushy. It was like week old sushi from the back of the fridge.

Everything I’ve ever had from here is delicious, and the staff go above and beyond! They’re so nice and friendly, I just absolutely love eating here. I couldn’t recommend it more, it’s my favorite Japanese food restaurant in Mt Pleasant!
