Karak Café

Absolutely delicious! This place is a hidden gem, we’ve been passing by for months and finally decided to give it a chance. The grilled chicken tandoori sandwich completely blew us away. I highly recommend pairing it with the Pakola cream soda which has subtle floral notes similar to rosewater, and complements the sandwich so well! Not only is the food spectacular, but the prices are also very reasonable and the service was great. We can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu!

We recently visited this restaurant. The owners are very warm and welcoming. The restaurant space is neat and clean. We tried their regular and rabdi falooda and they were delicious and brought back memories of Karachi! They also had free chess game for customers to enjoy which was a nice surprise. We will definitely return to try other food items on their menu!

9/28/25 update: I wanted to revisit this place since I had a very positive initial experience. This time I got the karak cheesesteak and grilled tandoori chicken sandwich. I also got a mango refresher. -karak cheesesteak 5 - it is so difficult trying to find a good place that makes cheesesteaks. The one by me skimps on the meat. However, here as in the picture, you can see they were very generous with the meat. The meat was very tender and flavorful. I like that they put their own spin on the sandwich with their spices. Karak Café is our absolute go-to spot. There isn’t a single item on their menu that doesn’t live up to perfection. Their karak chai is our forever favorite—perfectly warm, beautifully balanced, and made fresh every time (unlike many places). Our second favorite has to be the samosa chaat: a generous portion with the perfect balance of flavors. All their chutneys are made in-house, and you can truly taste the difference. On top of that, the staff is always so welcoming and happy to help with suggestions, which makes the experience even better. Karak Cafe is a well kept secret (and current family hideout!) The juicy, delicately spiced tandoori chicken burger is a family favorite - for vegetarians, the paneer roll is equally tasty. Both pair incredibly well with their saffron chai. It's always a fantastic experience to come here and enjoy the good food with the owner's warmth and hospitality!
