I would HIGHLY recommend 10/10!!!!! Last year, we decided to take my son to Kansas City for his 5th birthday (we’re from St. Louis). I had been searching for bakers to do a nice Spider-Man cake, and I found Ms. Karen. Let me tell you something - customer service was top tier!!! Ms. Karen was super friendly, very helpful, and reasonably priced. When we picked up my son’s Spider-Man cupcakes and cake, it was definitely better than what we had expected. We purchased other goodies to take back home (lol they didn’t make it back to St. Louis). We told Ms. Karen that we’d be back to get our wedding cake done by her (this was in Sept. 2023). Fast forward to Aug. 2024 - Ms. Karen texted a flyer for her soft grand opening at the Raytown location and I told her we still want to get our wedding cake

Great experience me and my wife will use her again & again , she was very nice and professional . Our wedding cake was beautiful and very delicious. After having issue with other cake places we stumble upon this gem and so glad we did .

Absolutely delicious desserts, I ordered the strawberry shortcake cup cakes and 7-up pound cake, when I say my family and I were very pleased, everyone went back for seconds. The desserts are so moist. Oh and did I mention I messaged them, less than 7 days before the holidays and they got me taken care of. If you are looking for the best dessert hands down.. please stop by Karen's Kakes.

Karen is just the sweetest human being with an enormous talent for baking! We love her (and her Kakes) and you will too! She even put one of our "imagined" flavors on her VAST flavor menu! You will NOT be disappointed.
