What a find for good ol’ diner vibes. My fiancé and I enjoyed ourselves from the time we walked in. The service was so kind and genuinely friendly. Francis was our server and what a doll! The 3 meat omelette was delicious, loved the fresh veggies in it. The waffle was thick and fluffy and everything we wanted. Super attentive and quick service. Donna kept coming by to make sure our coffee was topped off and ask if everything was ok. So nice to know that good service is still out there and today we found it at Kathy’s Kichen. Definitely will be regular customers now!

Food was fantastic. Service was very warm and friendly. They were packed when we went so clearly very popular. Prices felt fair for the portion and quality. Would definitely come again.

Our server Jennifer was very nice and welcoming.. you can sit anywhere theirs an open table so we sat right by the kitchen an the smells of fresh ingredients increased my appetite. I ordered the homemade waffle with pecans 3 eggs scrambled with cheese the home fries an 2 turkey sausage links an a bowl of grits. My wife ordered Mitchell’s Mayham which consisted of a gravy biscuits with shredded cheese an eggs on top we even got French toast an eggs for our son let me tell you this place is a Dimond in the rough for sure as for everything we ate was great…. I highly recommend this place for breakfast. They even serve lunch for 11 till 2 if your ever in Goldsboro NC give this place a try

Kathy’s Kitchen is the perfect spot for breakfast in Goldsboro! The food is absolutely delicious and comes out hot and fresh every time. The service is just as amazing—friendly, fast, and welcoming, which really makes you feel at home. It honestly felt like the whole town was there enjoying their morning together, which gave it such a warm, old-school community vibe. If you’re looking for a great place to start your day, this is definitely the spot.
