Kauai Boba & BBQ (Kīlauea)

BBQ mixed plate & Hawaii Combo. Great prices. The Hawaii meat was awesome but the meat from the BBQ plate was tough and sinewy. Flavor overall was good but maybe a bit on the salty side. Kinda reminds me of the restaurant Mixed Plate that used to be in Hanalei. Unfortunately, we couldnt eat the salad. They put ranch on it. Our bad for not asking ahead of time. The kalua pork is good. The lau lau is melt in your mouth tender. Its good but not amazing. One combo plate can easily feed two adults.

Exceptional slushie boba drinks !! The pan fried dumplings were great too, lots of meat. Stopped here the first time and got a Real Fruit drink, it was basically a fresh smoothie ! All whole ingredients. Had to come back again. Recommend the real fruit strawberry, vanilla, chocolate, and thai tea slushie. Get there early or theyll run out of thai tea ! We were here when they got their food delivery - they get premium grade ahi and ingredients from a local distributor (not cisco like many) ❤️

This place definitely did not seem like a tourist spot, as it was situated in a strip mall without much touristy things adjacent. The food was solid and plentiful, especially for the price. We ordered the Katsu Curry and Garlic Shrimp. The katsu chicken in the curry dish was cooked really well and was quite crunchy and tasty, however, the curry didn’t seem as fresh or homemade as expected (we could be wrong and maybe it was made from scratch). The regular size came with two big scoops of white rice and a scoop of macaroni salad (which was really good). We did have some leftovers given how much chicken there was. The garlic shrimp was served with brown rice and a salad with a wedge of lemon. The underlying lettuce (of which there was a lot) could have used a little dressing on it beside

We absolutely loved the food here during our trip to Kauai! It easily made our top three meals of the entire vacation. It was just a quick drive from our Airbnb in Princeville, and everything we ordered was genuinely delicious.

The Loco Moco was soooo goood!!! That was our favorite. We also got a Strawberry Vanilla boba drink which was delicious 🤤
