Excellent food, vibe and great staff! Spiro and his team are great, and really know how to make you feel welcome! The food is off the charts! If you want the best authentic Greek food near me in Boston, “KAVA” is the place to go!

We sat at the bar on a summer Saturday 4:30pm for dinner and had a very nice time. The food was top notch. The space is small inside but high ceilings and the clientele is young. They have a lot of workers so service is quick. Very generous pours of wine!

Cute little spot in a quiet South End neighborhood with a cozy outdoor seating area. We sat outside and really enjoyed the ambiance—though I did get bitten by a few mosquitos, so maybe bring bug spray? Service was fine—not overly warm, but nothing to complain about either. One downside: there’s only one bathroom stall for the entire restaurant, and it wasn’t the cleanest. Definitely something that took a bit away from the overall experience. As for the food, it was solid! We had the watermelon salad, one of the dips with bread, and the mixed grill—everything was tasty and the portions were very generous. We left absolutely stuffed. All in all, a nice spot for a casual Mediterranean meal, especially if you can grab a seat outside on a warm day.

Just had a PHENOMENAL meal here!! I’ve heard only amazing things and they were all true. The fried zucchini chips were super tasty and addictive. The pastry with feta and honey was warm and sweet—absolutely nothing not to like. The short rib with orzo was also sweet and it really worked! Very flavorful and I would definitely get it again. I might skip on the potatoes though—I found them to be too lemony. Our server was also incredibly friendly and helpful for giving suggestions. Unfortunately my thumb was covering his name when I took a picture of the receipt, but he checked in on us and provided us with a truly wonderful evening.

This review is specific to how good the food was… I’m not someone who appreciates atmosphere/vibes. If you re someone who loves great food, keep reading. Otherwise, I suggest reading someone else’s reviews: One of the best meals of my life. I was so in shock I went again. Go here and follow my order: 1. Zucchini chips - incredible.. sauce is so good 2. Short rib - perfection… whoever is making this dish just know I think about you 3. Feta honey pita thing… forgot to take a photo but was insanely good 4. Lamb chops… perfectly done. Big. I like to meat. 5. The desert yogurt might be the best thing I ate which makes no sense since it’s yogurt Since I ve been there twice… these dishes were good but not really what I ll get again: 1. Lemon potatoes… I think I personally don’t like too much l
