This place is such an amazing local gem! Its very casual atmosphere is welcoming, and gives off half Japanese bodega/restaurant vibes, as they have both imported goods and yummy eats. The staff is so friendly and honestly made it feel like family serving us. I felt like we were actually eating in a local restaurant in HI, their family is originally from HI, so man the local grindz and chill vibe was spot on. I had the sesame chicken bento box and tempura shrimp à la carte, hubby had a sushi roll with tempura shrimp, cream cheese, avocado, and salmon on top. Everything was really good, very fresh and so ono/oishii. Loved that the tempura and sesame chicken were battered not panko crusted, although they do have panko crusted things on the menu that I’m sure are super yummy. And we had to try

They are really sweet here and quality food! They have a ton of options for dessert and some shopping for unique items. Each of us ordered something different and it was all equally good. Our favorite dessert was the chocolate frozen wafer ice cream. We will definitely be back. Thank you!!

I 100% recommend this place! The staff was incredible. Their food was really good and I loved the teriyaki sauce 🤤. I loved the atmosphere because they had real plants and it felt very welcoming. We also had wonderful service, and they had our food done quickly and it was quite good. I recommend their spicy edamame and the lychee marble soda. They sell mini bamboo plants for just 10 dollars each. They also sell fun snacks, cute candies, and other things.

Their shave ice is very soft and fluffy, not hard at all. They're also generous with the syrup but not to the point where it's too sweet. Also recommended their beef teriyaki. The beef is thin and easy to chew and there is always the right amount of sauce.

Honestly I don’t know why they have high ratings… the bento box was spicy and it was saying in the menu. Sushi roll was way too many rice. Small portions and definitely not a one dollar sign price. The store it’s cute but it not worth the price coming to this restaurant. Not recommend this location.
