Take your taste buds here. We stopped 12/15 around 2:30 pm & were the only customers. My beautiful bride had lasagna & mashed potatoes and water. I also had lasagna and fried okra and creamed corn and a Pepsi. We both had a cloverleaf roll. The food is served from the hot case in the back, then all self service after that. The meals totalled $21.92. We both thought the meals were tasty and very filling. My photo was after I began eating 🤣 sorry. We'll be back, my meal $8.99 her's $7.99. Try them any weekday breakfast until 4pm.

Tucked away in the Excellence Way Industrial Park in Vonore is a pleasant surprise. A place to have breakfast and/or lunch that is not part of a burger doodle chain. I had the everything you would want for breakfast (eggs, sausage, hash browns, biscuits and gravy) It is a two-plate breakfast, so be hungry. They also have pancakes and omelets. Lunch is also available with daily changes in the meat being served. Check out the sides. Deviled eggs as a side, that is rare and also welcome. Another surprise is a candy display with two of my favorites, that sometimes are hard to find, namely a Zero and Mr. Goodbar and only a dollar a bar. Go local and give them a try. Food was so delicious. Had mashed potatoes salsbury steak and corn with corn bread. Husband had meatloaf. everything was delicious. Only problem was the service. We walked in and there was no way to know what to do where to go, where to order. There was a lady standing behind the food so we walked over and she just looked at us like we should be able to read her mind. Almost walked out, but decided to stay because we had no idea where else to go. Finally had to ask and ask for price, even after sitting there and looking around had no idea where the menu was or even pricing. No prices on desserts, so we skipped it. Great portions and delicious food.

Just found this cute little restaurant today. Good homesytle meal that is very reasonably priced. I got the hot buffet and wish I had room for some red velvet cake but I was too full. Give this place a try!

My wife and I shared a breakfast recently at Kelly D’s and thoroughly enjoyed it. Plenty of room in the restaurant with really good food - scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausage, biscuit and gravy and country ham slice. Good value and service. Will make this a regular stop.
