I used to love this little library so much. However, the past couple times I've been there, I had the same unfortunate experience as one of the reviewers below. The staff members talk often amongst themselves about their personal lives and make no effort to lower their voices or go back into the office to carry on their conversations. The library is small and voices carry, so there is nowhere that is a quiet spot to concentrate. I understand that things can get slow, but there were children there who were quieter than the staff has been, and it could have been easily remedied by using quieter voices and being respectful of library patrons. When people think of libraries, they think of quiet. Sadly, this has not been my experience the past few times I've been there.

This place has the potential to be a nice library. My wife and I have gone there a couple of times and ended up not enjoying it because of the staff. Not sure why, but the consistent issue is that they talk very loud to be in a library. We didn’t just experience this once, but on a couple of occasions. This staff appears to not be mindful that they work in a library and many people go to a Iibrary to work in a quiet place. Maybe it has to do with the size of the place (not a big library) and the voices travel a lot easier. Regardless of the reason, they speak loud enough to be Baristas at a local coffee shop. For that reason, we have found another “quiet” place to visit.

So unfortunate. I just went in to get a library card and check out a book. I walked in all excited and stood at the desk in front of the worker. She could CLEARLY see me but never acknowledged me as I stood there awkwardly. She was a middle aged woman with blonde hair. I can absolutely understand if you are in the middle of something but a quick “hello” or “I’ll be right with you” is all it takes. I walked off and decided to just go look for some books but then thought…no thank you and just exited. What a horrible first visit experience. I will try North Cobb and hope for better.

It's a nice library, but if you're looking for a place to get work done on a laptop you might want to look elsewhere. The wifi was painfully slow, to the point where I couldn't get through a 4 minute video for a class I was trying to finish. Still going to leave 5 stars, because local libraries deserve more love, but I just hope that they upgrade their wifi in the near future. I'd love to be able to spend more time here!

Very friendly and helpful library. Staff hosts book clubs, read aloud story times for kids, cooking and craft clubs. Library also has excellent book choices and access to online books and resources.
