Kermit's Key Lime Pie Shop - DeLand

We arrived 10 minutes before closing and Barbie was extremely patient, friendly and helpful. We were able to sample their cookies with gluten free options which were delicious. Their chocolate key lime pie on a stick was amazing. I should have gotten two. That’s okay, we’ll be back! 🥧🍪

We visited Kermit’s Key Lime Pie Shop in DeLand this past November and absolutely loved it. The products are fantastic—the key lime pie is to die for, and the cookies are even more amazing. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. The lady who helped us was wonderful; I’m sorry I don’t remember her name, but she was incredibly friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting DeLand.

Odd little shop. When you walk in there’s just different options on the floor to look at. There’s a few samples of cookies etc in the back. The freezers are where the good stuff is. Pies and pops! I got the famous slice of key lime. Rookie mistake I was too eager and started eating it in the parking lot. When I got home I left the second half of it out on the counter to come to room temp. It was to die for!!!! There was a tour bus there when I arrived…about 50 people all devouring the frozen desserts. I’ll get that next time!

If you are ever in Key West. You must stop by here. From the moment I walked in the door. The service was really great. Of course the key lime pie was amazing. Everything key lime that you can think of. My favorite was the plain key lime pie. They afforded you an opportunity to sample everything. (Pies, taffy, cookies, candy, pound cake, rum cake, ice cream, and more)

20231206 I wanted some keylime pies from FL since I read so much about keyline pies in FL. This is the only keylime pie shop that was on my route. I'm so glad that it was because I had a great shopping experience. Tina was great. She was so helpful and yet left me alone while I shop, which I preferred. Tina answered all my questions, and if she happened to have an open bag of something I asked about, she gave me a sample. I didn't know this is an outlet store, which means discounted prices! 🥳 I got a bag of keyline snaps, a bag of white chocolate chip keyline cookies that has a nice keyline aroma with a mild keyline flavor, 2 boxes of keyline taffy, 1 chocolate covered keyline pie that was amazing!!, a slice of keylime pie and a slice of coconut keyline pie.
