Keweenaw Castle Resort

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Keweenaw Castle Resort and can’t recommend it enough. The lake views were absolutely beautiful and made the entire experience feel peaceful and special. We were especially impressed by the attention to detail from the thoughtful amenities to the toiletries, which made the in-unit jacuzzi in the Grand/Honeymoon Suite feel extra luxurious and relaxing. What truly set this place apart were the owners. When we decided to go out for dinner one evening, they generously offered pet-sitting services, which allowed us to enjoy our night worry-free. This stay felt truly special, and we’re hoping to make it a recurring tradition in honor of our wedding anniversary!

My wife and I had a great time at the Keweenaw Castle for our 30th wedding anniversary! We had full access to the large hot tub, sauna and game/media room, and Ann was a gracious and accommodating host during our stay. We also loved the relaxing couples message we received on site. The only negative that I can think of was that the multiple shower heads in the honeymoon suite were somewhat difficult to operate/control, but otherwise it was a very memorable stay at a truly beautiful property on the shores of Lake Superior. Would definitely stay here again!

Magnificent Place. So many adminities. The entire place is Gorgeous. The room was spectacular and clean. The game room, hot tub, indoor patio and outdoor patio, guest kitchen, the sauna, and the views of lake Superior are all incredible. I felt lucky to find this on my trip. 30 minutes from Mount Bohemia is perfect.

We spent NYE 2025, and NY Day 2026 at this amazing resort. Yes, there is tons of snow. We live up here so that was not a surprise. Great for outdoor activities, many of which the resort can outfit you for. We stayed in the Grand Suite...amazing. And, when we came back after dinner at Fitzgerald's up the road a bit, the owners (Nancy and Keith) had their personal residence open to all, with amazing appetizers, hot mulled wine, and an optional dinner. We had already eaten but the food looked and smelled amazing. OK, we did try some of the appetizers...all local which was cool. We met newly weds, not quite newly weds, and had a wonderful "happy hour" or two. A very special touch to a very special evening. Fireplace and hot tub in the suite. We spent three nights at Keweenaw Castle traveling from Minnesota for our wedding, and it was absolutely perfect. The setting is stunning, a beautiful, private lakefront property that made our celebration feel like a true getaway.||Ann, our on-site coordinator, was wonderful to work with. She helped us plan every detail and made sure things ran smoothly all weekend. We brought our own decor and flowers, but the venue itself was so beautiful it didn’t need much.||We also highly recommend Jeremy Berryman from Fitzgerald’s for a wedding dinner at the Keweenaw Castle, it was amazing.
