KFC

I had an $8.99 coupon for any Big Box. The regular price is $11.89. I ordered a #7 with 3 pieces of bone-in Original Chicken. Do they still use Colonel Sander's Secret Recipe of "11 herbs and spices?" I chose a Breast and 2 Thighs, 1 Ind. Mash Potatoes & Gravy, 1 Ind. Mac & Cheese, 1 Biscuit, and a Medium Drink. It's not as good as it was way back when, but it's still somewhat "Finger Lickin' Good."

My wife and I heard about a Tuesday Special at KFC to get 8 pieces of dark meat chicken for $10 and visited the KFC location in Allen at Main and Greenville. We both choked down one piece and that was it. All of the remaining pieces can be seen here with uncooked batter falling off the meat. Too afraid to eat the rest. Also impossible to tell which is original and which is extra crispy.

They ran out of chicken. Literally. Ran out. Staff in the kitchen looked high as 5 Georgia pines. Girl up front was stressed out and apologizing for everything. Looked like she wanted to cry. How do you even run a KFC AND RUN OUT OF CHICKEN? Finally got my order 30 minutes later and more customers come in. Guess what. Yep. No more chicken. 🤦🏼‍♀️

The sandwich was barely warm. The meat portion looked large but was a thin piece of meat covered in a lot of batter. Flavor was meh!

This is one of the best KFC locations I have been too! From the quality of the food too the waiting time for our food was great definitely would recommend!
