KFC

Well it's nice to have a kfc next to a truck stop. That's the 1 star that I give. The food and service not so great. I walk in on a later Tuesday morning. I'm the only person in the lobby placing an order. There is nobody in drive thru. I order a 16 piece, 4 pack of biscuits and an order of liver. I eat the liver first. It left some type of film on my lips that took forever to get off. The biscuits were cold,hard and dry. The chicken looked like it had been sitting in grease all day! Where is the pride in making food? I ordered 4 breasts, 6 legs and 6 thighs. What I got was 3 breasts, 1 leg, 3 thighs and the rest wings. How in the heck can you possibly get the only order in the entire building wrong? Does kfc hire people that cannot read? Man and I thought us truckers have it bad on the ro

I wish I could give less than one star. I went there and ordered a chicken tender family meal (8 tenders, lrg mac and cheese lrg mashpotato, 4 biscuts) with two handheld pot pies. I got home and had no mac and cheese (the reason my son will eat there), and two cold mashed potatoes and gravy with six tenders… that’s it. The tenders were overcooked and dried out, and there were no pies. I live a 20-minute drive away, so it’s not just a matter of jumping back in the car to take it back. I have tried for 45 minutes to call and complain. They WILL NOT answer the phone. I am far from happy with this. How am I supposed to feed my family when they don’t give you the right food? It wasn’t like it was even busy!!!

Absolutely love that KFC brought back the honey bbq chicken. The staff there are awesome, even when they gave me the wrong item they made it right and corrected it. Thank you Ramona A+ customer service.

I ordered 4 tenders. I was told that it is impossible to sell me 4 tenders even though it’s directly on their menu. I asked if he could sell me a single tender, he said yes. I asked him to ring me up for 4 single tenders, he said no. I finally settled on ordering 3 tenders. He asked what side I wanted. I said I don’t want any side, please just the tenders. No side, no drink. He said he can’t sell a 3 piece tender except as a meal. I relented. Then these are the tenders I received. Granted, I am used to KFC Perú but considering that KFC is literally from the United States, I expected it to be better here, not infinitely worse and honestly inedible. Very sad.

I work in Morganton and live an hour away from my job. I've stopped at this store 3 times now on my drive home. All 3 times they have been out of basic menu item and it has taken 30 minutes plus to get my order. Crew is rude and pathetic, and shows the utter incompetence of the store manager. I have been a General Manager running fast food restaurants for over 20 years, and this is utterly ridiculous. A change in mgmt and crew are desperately needed here. After this I will never be back. I'll wait til I get home to Asheville to order and get my food. At least I know they will have it, and won't take 3p minutes.
