Kilgus Farmstead & Country Store

I've heard so much about this place. First off I have never been a fan of Gelato but their raspberry cheesecake gelato is phenomenal. Can't wait to go back and get more. They have raw milk, meats, cheeses, freezer meals, old fashioned glass bottled sodas, decor, it's just a 5 minute f drive from the center of Fairbury. They have honey too and soaps that are made by someone who uses their milk.... P.S. I went back the next day for more Raspberry Cheesecake Gelato!!

We found ourselves in Fairbury at that famous used clothing store and I had a lot of extra time and we went to Kilgus Farmstead and country store on our way back to Peoria. What a wonderful stop. My two favorite items was the chocolate milk and we bought some pork patties for breakfast tomorrow

Very much worth the drive from Dwight. Excellent products and a great atmosphere. The ribeye steaks were the best I've ever had, the quality is so much better than the grocery store ribeye's. The selection of fresh dairy products is amazing. I will definitely be making the trip to load up again.

Best tasting raw milk I've had. The store is well laid out with lots of local products. Their ice cream and Gelato are delicious. Well worth the drive.

They have new facility now. Staff is friendly. Now ice-cream options are offered. Flavors are different and has good quality. You may get good variety of jams, spreads, salsa and cheese. Worth trying.
