Kilwins Ice Cream - Chocolate - Fudge

We went here on a whim because we were already in downtown Annapolis. We weren’t greeted when we entered. There weren’t many patrons. After looking around at the chocolate treats, we walked towards the exit. As we were leaving a young lady behind the counter nicely stated, “Have a good day”. Turning to acknowledge her I noticed the caramel pecan apples (my guilty pleasure) I ordered two of them. My family sampled the fudge offered to them. The quality of the customer service increased the more we ordered. The fudge was fair, according to them. Same for my apple. I love a nice tart green apple which was used. The apple wasn’t as crisp as I like. It was a fair experience overall

Staff was fantastic! Line was long but they move it along quickly. They took very good care to answer questions and be friendly. They recommended the Blueberry waffle cone ice cream...and it did not disappoint! We also got fudge and caramel apples. Everything was delicious.

Wanted--people with a sweet tooth!! You can satisfy all those chocolatey and ice-creamy dreams at Kilwins in downtown Annapolis. Pleasant shop full of goodies with helpful staff. You can even watch fudge getting made and decorated! Large selection of ice cream flavors and a variety of cones and toppings. The line was a bit long, but it moved fairly quickly and we were rapidly 'scooped', rung-up, and on our way to enjoy some pretty good stuff al fresco. Yes, no dining inside, but you can walk and eat or find a nearby bench.

I am from the Cincinnati area and Graeter’s ice cream is top tier high quality ice cream. This is on that level. Their cookies & cream was excellent and my wife had the chocolate toasted coconut that was also excellent.

The staff was so friendly and let us sample the fudge, which was delicious. We took advantage of their 2-for-1 fudge sale and went home with plenty of fudge. Such a fantastic selection, it was hard to choose! Can’t wait to come back and try the ice cream next time.
