My Wife and oldest Son and I just had an incredible experience at the recently opened Kindred Public House on north Monroe. From the first step through the door the staff seemed genuinely eager to make sure we had a great experience. Our server Sadira was very helpful with navigating the menu and her eagerness to offer suggestions of her favorites kind of got me hyped to try the food here. Shortly after our drinks were served a mysterious man appeared with an short rib street taco appetizer he said was accidentally over produced from the kitchen. The tacos are absolutely delicious with the perfect amount of pickled veg to accompany a mountain of juicy and perfectly seasoned short rip meat. Then came our entrees I had the Seoul Cheese steak with garlic fries and side of Ranch. The cheese st

Pretty standard pub food, everything sounded delicious and exciting on the menu, but seemed like the flavors and seasonings were toned way down. I’d expect bold flavor, not what I got. I received a side of Mac n cheese that did not get eaten by me or my date, very starchy and flavorless. Pork street tacos were good, and the Korean cheesesteak was good as well. I had high hopes for the food, the service was excellent however, after reading other reviews that must’ve been an improvement since opening.

Stopped by here a few weeks ago and I’m still thinking about it!! The food was INCREDIBLE, especially the pesto portobello burger. We also had fried tofu bites, rosemary dough puffs, and the vegan Mac and cheese. Everything was delicious! We also LOVE when restaurants are so vegan and vegetarian friendly. Our family is vegan and vegetarian and it’s so so nice to go somewhere and have more than one option. I really appreciate the versatile menu and how easily items can be adjusted for our dietary preferences. We love cascadia so it’s very exciting to have a similar but different menu closer to us! Highly recommend and can’t wait to go again.

My partner and I stopped by during the week and I can genuinely say this was a 5/5 ⭐️ experience. We came after the lunch rush was over which was the ideal time bc we got to really talk our server and get to know the menu. We tried the pork belly bites (and did tofu instead) and they were amazing. The tamarind sauce was perfectly tangy, but next time we will stick to pork bc the sauce is perfect to cut through the fattiness and once eating it totally made sense why that was the sauce they chose. (Although the tofu was great) I had the vegan fried chicken with the Korean BBQ and if you are a lover of spicy & sweet this is the ideal sauce to chose. I also recommend doing chimichurri fries rather than regular bc who doesn’t love chimichurri. My partner had the Korean Seoul Cheesestake and he

What a gem! The location is super convenient with free parking, which made getting here so easy. The staff was incredibly nice and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The food was amazing — packed with flavor! We especially loved the wings and pretzel bites, which were absolutely delicious. The portions are huge — we only made it through half our entrées and happily took the rest home. Definitely recommending this spot to friends and family, and we’ll for sure be back soon!
