King George Inn Bed & Breakfast

It was a great experience. Lynn and Jack were very kind and friendly. Enjoyed their beautiful stories on breakfast. The room is great and clean, and the house is quiet. Will never forget the wonderful moments there. Finally, Thanks Lynn and Jack for the service and this place will be always the best choice when coming back to Roanoke again!

Extremely well located in Roanoke. Close to the Berglund Center and Taubman Museum. Five minutes drive to Mill Mountain for nice hiking and amazing views. We stayed in the King George room The inn itself is showing it's age and signs of deferred maintenance. However the common rooms are well furnished and welcoming, and the guest rooms are large. We both slept really well despite the toilet that ran periodically all night. Breakfast was adequate, but certainly not memorable or special. All in all we weren't knocked out, it was just okay; next time we go to Roanoke we'll check out one of the other B&Bs.

We had a great stay at the King George Inn. Lynn and Jack are fantastic hosts and gave us great local recommendations. The breakfast each morning was delicious and the Inn has an "at home" feel to it. We stayed in the King George room which was spacious and had a King size bed. It more then fit our needs and each night we had a quiet sleep. The location cannot be beat. Centrally located in Roanoke, it was close many desired hikes in the area. For the price and service this is the best choice. We will be visiting again!

absolutely lovely place. big, beautiful rooms with great showers. the building is close to everything. definitely stay here if you are ever in roanoke!

I spent two nights at the King George Inn and found it to be very comfortable and welcoming from the spacious bedroom and bath, spaces upstairs and down to relax in, and quiet atmosphere. I especially enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the evening and the wonderful conversation with the owner. Great location to see the mountains too, can't go wrong at this location.
