King of Ramen Pasadena

Found this awesome little ramen shop 🍜 nice simple front and back menu. The Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen was delicious with the added fried garlic 🤤 8 sides to accompany your ramen. Had to get some spring rolls and gyoza 👀 They offer a good variety of drinks as well (no alcohol)

Like the name suggest they are the king of ramen. The tonkotsu ramen was delicious and super satisfying. The egg was perfectly creamy and soft. The pork was a bit too chewy but it was made up by the noodles and broth. Limited interior seating and no washroom, the staff are very friendly.

My friend and I had dinner here tonight. Wow what a delight! The tonkotsu broth was just delicious, deeply flavorful. The noodles have the right amount of bounce. We ordered the fried pumpkin appetizer to share and it was crispy and sweet and delicious. The service was attentive, friendly, and welcoming. Place is clean. It was a very pleasant experience and I will be back.

One of my favorite things when having ramen is there soft boiled eggs. And I can tell you sometimes it is harder to find then you would think. You will fall in love just as I did once you find this spot.( Before finding them I was having ramen with hard boiled eggs,lol.) It is so good I came home to add my review. The service 10 stars. The host and cooks are super nice.Taro desert 5 stars their soft boiled eggs 5 stars , veggies in the ramen with garlic added 5 stars, pork quality stars. (New items we tried. Chicken katsu curry with vegetables 5 stars, coconut jelly desert 5 stars.

King of Ramen was a delightful, relaxing experience. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable with a sense of humor. The portion sizes were perfect. The entrees and appetizers were served quickly and hot. I ordered the Tan Tan Ramen and found it’s flavor to be perfectly blended with spice and sweet. It is spicy but the heat does not overpower the flavor. I highly recommend this ramen.
