King of the Sea Seafood Restaurant

The restaurant was clean and inviting. We got seated right away. The waitress did a great job of staying on top of things. Our food was all if good quality. We got fried oysters, shrimp and fried fish. The hushpuppies could have been better. The taste was just basic. Nothing worth noting. We did order 2 side salads with blue cheese. I can't even begin to explain how bad the blue cheese was. It tasted like dish water or a wet cardboard box. Not to mention, it was pink... kinda weird. I would definitely change that recipe because it was pitiful. We will be back. It was a great meal for the most part.

I’m not much on fish camps but we went for my father’s birthday. He really enjoys this place and so does my grandmother. We took the whole family. Everyone had great food and plenty of food in their plates and every one was very satisfied! We all took to go plates home! Out waitress was excellent and stayed on top of everything!

I cannot even begin to express how amazing Darlene's service was. She went absolutely above and beyond during our visit. She took every opportunity to ask us how we were doing, if we needed anything, and had such a great personality that brightened up the room. Speaking of, the look of the restaurant itself was gorgeous! I hadn't actually been here before the remodel, so I'm not sure what it looked like before, but my friends and I were very impressed. And the food, of course, was stellar! We were all very happy with our meals and the prices are super great! I had some tasty salmon, and my friends got the ribeye and the jumbo shrimp. My first time dining at this restaurant! While coming thru late 1 evening from out-of-town, I began craving fish. I had heard of this place & this was the BEST choice ever!! My friend got senior fried, s& catfish fillet & I had the broiled s&p catfish fillet with the best sweet potato! YUM-O!! Even though I'm out of town as well, I will be going back here to eat... DEEE--- LISH!! 5* all the way!
