Kings Donuts and Deli of Mt Dora

Probably some of the best donuts I've ever had. I came late in the day so they had sold a lot of their fresh donuts already. But there was still more than enough selection. These donuts were FRESH fresh, and the attendant was so sweet, assuring me that they weren't mad with calories-they were made with *love* hehe . I got a cinnamon roll and a lemon filled donut, and she threw in some donut holes for free. Sweet thing.

Always busy. Almost aways a wait depending on your order. People that work here are nice but overwhelmed, distracted and not happy because of it. It doesn't help that customers can be rude and entitled..you can feel their impatience and negative energy because the people waiting on you are jumping from drive-thru to cashier to doing something else to drive through to cashier to doing something and it just seems inconsistent and like there's no flow and the customer's need to be instantly gratified is not being met because it's impossible, even as hard as all the employees are trying to move people in and out as fast as possible. Not a personable experience. You're there to spend your money so don't expect much more than that because it's just a business. Donuts are very good though and

Best donuts in FL! They are super fast, very kind, really fresh with a HUGE selection of donuts and breakfast drinks and hot sandwiches. Ear in, sit outside, or use the drive thru! Even get a discount if you pay cash. Don’t come to Mount Dora or Eustis and not stop by!!

I drive by this place every morning and have been wanting to try Kings for awhile. Today I finally decided to give them a try! Ohhhh em geeee. These were absolutely delicious!! I bought 2 glazed dounts and a plain cake one. The glazed was soo fresh. I was surprised at how light and airy the donut itself was, yet balanced with the sweetness of the glaze. I will definitely be back.
