Kingston Vibes

If government officials back in the day ever tasted Jamaican food as good as they serve at Kingston Vibes, they never would have deported Marcus Garvey! We had oxtail, goat curry, and pepper steak. All of it was exceptional and came with rice, sweet plantain, and cabbage. We also ordered the loaded oxtail beef patty platter. Loaded with what? Mac and cheese! Oh and the patty was encased in a slab of Coco bread. This is dream comfort food. In fact, I'd keep myself in a state of constant depression and despair just so I can skip work and comfort myself all day at Kingston Vibes. The staff is super friendly and the place has a friendly feeling to it. The peanut drink was tasty and I wish I had it as my dessert. You will not be disappointed unless you don't eat carbs 😝 Oh so good

I tried their sweet pea soup and it was the worse sweet pea soup I’ve ever had. It was like they were experimenting on this soup. I never had a sweet pea soup that looked and taste like watered down chicken broth. This was the worse $12 I’ve ever spent on a soup I wanted to go back and ask for a refund but I didn’t want to waste my gas and arguing with people that I think would’ve gave me a hard time on my refund. I will never buy food from this place again 👎🏾

Great home-cooked Jamaican food in a comfortable relaxed atmosphere. The oxtail are outstanding.

This place is a real find. The decor is cool, although we ate outside because it was a nice night. Had the curry chicken and peas and rice - both absolutely delicious, hot and fresh and perfectly spiced. Generous portions. They also have an great selection of drinks. The service was amazing - really nice people who regularly checked whether we needed anything. Prices also super reasonable. Can't say enough good things about this place obviously. We will be going back!
