Customer Reviews
So happy Kingyubu opened a second location in Koreatown! The yubu here is always fresh and flavorful -- I love the Mala Mayo Karaage, Grilled Bulgogi, Spicy Salmon, Queen Mermaid, and King Yubu. Their cheesy Korean corn dog and Mala Rose Tteokbokki are also a must-try! Great food, friendly staff, and such a cute spot. Plus there’s free parking with validation!!!
From order to serving, it only took 7 minutes. Quality was pretty good. I miss the last place, which had a really nice variety, but I'm sure it was hard to keep up, especially when everybody's short-staffed. Here, they keep it easy, mainly just serve 유부초밥(Yubu Chobap, or the Japanese might call it いなり寿司) essentially it's a pocket of tofu skin that wraps some rice, with various toppings on top. I noticed while we were eating, there were some people that were really interested, but because they didn't see anyone at the front, they just left. If you can't wait though, you're gonna' miss out!
Kingyubu just opened their second location—this time inside Madang Mall in Koreatown! 🎉 Did you know they’ve got K-Corn Dogs too? I went for the Potato Cheese with ketchup + Cajun mustard… and yes, the cheese pull was epic🧀✨ Of course I couldn’t skip their signature fried tofu pockets filled with seasoned rice—this round I tried the Grilled Bulgogi, Spicy Fresh Tuna, and Unagi toppings🥢🔥 And if you’re craving something hearty, their mini cupbops hit the spot: Spicy BBQ Pork and Chicken Mayo over rice + steamed egg. Pure comfort in a bowl🍲💯
Cozy place with Friendly staff Yubu size was little bigger than regular size. If two people are going, it’s a good idea to each order two pieces of yubu and share a side menu like a hot dog, Sotteok, and etc.
Very welcoming place they have security, anyways to the food; I never had it before I’m from Ohio and this is honestly so good and the pricing too, I only got one I’m honestly stuffed. I got the Bulgogi grilled. I didn’t even know it was tofu on the outside 10/10 I will definitely come again!
