Kkanbu Sushi

This place serves a generous variety of delicious side dishes, and the sashimi was really fresh and high quality. We had flounder and Korean sole, and both were excellent—great texture and very clean taste. The spicy fish stew (maeuntang) at the end was flavorful and comforting, a perfect way to finish the meal. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great sashimi and warm service. Would definitely come back.

The owner kindly explained everything in detail, and the main sashimi platter was generous and of great quality. There were also plenty of side dishes, all delicious and well-prepared. The interior was clean and nicely maintained, making the overall dining experience very enjoyable.

Really cute restaurant with friendly and quick service, great music, and delicious food! We had sushi rolls and baked fish, I think sea bass, and all of it was amazing and fresh. Our server took time to make recommendations, and they have nice karaoke rooms we will have to come back for.

I was craving Korean-style “광어회” (flounder sashimi), so I came here — and it was fresh and delicious. Of course, it’s a bit pricey compared to Korea, but considering this is inland Dallas, I’m more than grateful for the quality. With all the “쓰끼다시” (complimentary side dishes) and even “매운탕” (spicy fish stew) included, it honestly felt better to me than buying sashimi from a market. The dining area is spacious, making it a good spot for groups as well.
