Klingers at the Airport

I have to say, I don't think I can come here ever again. Yeah, maybe it's cool that it's at an airport, and there are a few single plane engines there, and even a playground for the kids. But the food...I'd rather go elsewhere. The steak was disappointing. It was cooked as requested (medium rare) but even still it was veiny and tough. It had the consistency of 3D printed meat. I also had the shrimp since it was a special and that was also lackluster. The seasoning for the shrimp was on the shells...and no seasoning on the meat. As a result, the shrimp was bland. Service was regular. Prices were too high for the quality of food you get. #bechego

Oh how to begin? Klingers at the Airport is blessed beyond words because they have two amazing servers/hosts. Anthony and Esteban were and always provide superior service, kindness, their smiles and their care are wonderful. These two young men are an example of what we need more of. You made our night special with your extra care for us tonight. God bless you both. I hope this establishment knows what amazing young men they have working there. We had a great visit today! They are very kid friendly. Our server was very nice and did a great job. They have a nice menu and everything we had was tasty. We tried a few types of wings, Reuben egg rolls, Shepherds Pie and a taco bowl. Afterwards the kids played in the playground and we watched a plane take off. I hope to come back when the weather is warmer because they look like they will have outdoor seating.

Inside Reading airport Klingers does have a lovey airplane theme with model airplanes hanging from the ceiling. I was there with a fairly large group. The waitress was nice but seemed very much in a hurry. My husband order the build your own burger I ordered the crab cakes and we shared a order of nachos with pulled pork. The nachos were phenomenal and they did skimp on the pork. Th fresh sliced jalapeños were very hot which was shocking. My husband's burger and fries were good and large portions. The crab cakes were so so. There were lots of pieces of shells in them that I had to fish out of my mouth. Favor was somewhat bland. I have had much better. Over all I do recommend the rest of the food looked amazing.

I have never had a bad meal at Klingers. I especially like the brisket platter. Generous portions. The boneless wings are also another favorite. They have a children's menu. In the warmer months, an enclosed outside play area with seating is a big hit.
