Great find! I'm so happy I came here what a lovely little restaurant, the atmosphere, vibe and decor are so nice. I was greeted, sat down offered water and asked if I wanted a drink, I ordered tea which came fast and was piping hot. I then got a ramen which was so tasty and filling. I was suffering from the cold blast in NYC and this really warmed me up and filled me up. I have no complaints at all. Fantastic service, will 100% return if I come back to NYC
Great small place with amazing ramen dishes and more. I enjoyed the appetizer Agedashi Tofu followed by a big bowls of Spicy Tonaotsu then Shoyu Ramen that my hubby and I shared. Both were delicious and the spicy bowl made my nose run! 😜😋❤️!
Ramen is a great choice for a meal on a freezing day. The Spicy Tokotsu Ramen packs quite a kick and the broth was more viscous than I'm used to. Uniquely the ramen incorporated bok choy and sesame seeds. The hot sake was refreshing after spending some time out in the cold. The restaurant is rather cozy and it was a good thing I came in the early afternoon before rush hour. The place started to get crowded around 4 o'clock. Overall the meal and drink was a boost to my morale.
Solid ramen-ya in Hell’s Kitchen. I had their shoyu ramen. Price/Taste/Ambience/Service are all solid. Broth good, thin noodle texture/firmness good, menma good. Will be back to try their tonkotsu next time :)
Pretty good ramen, probably 3.8 if I’m being specific. Spicy tonkotsu was oddly lacking in flavor…never a good thing when the main flavor in a dish is the spice. The broth is THICK, the chashu pork could’ve been more tender. The ahiru ramen was delicious! Wish I’d ordered that instead. The truffle flavor was prominent but not overwhelming, the duck was a little dry and tough, but the broth was insane. Also ordered a chashu bun as an app and it was fine. Service was normal for us, didn’t experience the negativity others experienced thankfully. Cute interior!
