Konnichiwa of Greenville

This was our first time eating here. I have to say it is our family's new favorite. The portions were excellent. The food was fresh and hot. We had this scallops bowl and the ribeye bowl as well as several different kinds of the sushi. The food was very good if not outstanding!

This was my second time eating at Konnichiwa of Greenville. The first time I ordered a couple speciality rolls. I enjoyed one, but didn’t care for the other. I thought I’d give it another try since it was a beautiful day & they have an outdoor seating area. I brought my dogs with me & it was appreciated that they could join me on the patio. This time I ordered two regular rolls, the spicy tuna and tempura shrimp. The seaweed was a bit chewy and I didn’t care for the tuna. But I enjoyed the outdoor atmosphere.

Really wanted to like this restaurant but after stopping here a second time to get food and getting conflicting information from the servers, I can’t take my chances. First time coming here asked about safe foods for an allergy and got something good, well the second time, got the same dish and asked just to be sure about allergy info on it again and was told this time it wasn’t safe to eat 🤷🏽‍♀️

It is a great place for a dinner downtown. It’s a bit loud sometimes, but that doesn’t bother me. The first time we found a hair in our miso soup but they offered to bring another bowl. Sushi is good but I would honestly recommend more the bento boxes. They are fantastic to try a bit of everything and most likely, to bring leftovers home. They could improve the cleanliness of the bathrooms…

We had an amazing dining experience at Konnichiwa of Greenville! We started with the Veggie Rolls and California Rolls, both fresh and delicious. For our main course, we ordered the Bento - NY Strip Steak, which came with rice, two dumplings, vegetables, and sushi—a great combination of flavors. We also tried the Hibachi Rice Bowl - NY Strip Bowl, served with rice and vegetables. The portion sizes are generous for the price, and we always have leftovers to take home. The atmosphere is inviting, and the location is unbeatable—just a short walk to Falls Park on the Reedy, making it easy to enjoy the sights and walk off a great meal. Highly recommended, especially this summer!
