Every time I come to town I have to stock up on the German style noodles, favorite is the Black Forest style and the Farmers style. They taste like the homemade noodles my mom use to make. Today we had lunch to go. So delicious! Some of the best sauerkraut I have ever had. Little pieces of sausage in it, exceptional! It was busy but service is fast and friendly. I joke I drive 6 hours to buy their noodles and sausage!
First time trying Polish/Ukrainian foods and they were sooo good! Took home halva and chocolate chips cookies, and they were delicious! We also got their beef jerky and they definitely tasted like homemade! Can't wait to fry the perogies!!! This place is absolutely worth coming back for!
I’d heard about this restaurant from a website showcasing unique restaurants in Minneapolis. My boyfriend and I are always looking for interesting and special places to eat in new cities. Right when I heard about this place, I knew we had to go. When we walked in, I was surprised that it was cafeteria style… Where you order what you want and grab a tray. But do not let that deter you, when we ordered, they immediately went back to make it fresh. We got the schnitzel and Ukrainian sausage, potato, pierogies, and meat pierogies. The mushroom gravy that came with a schnitzel, and the spaetzle was just incredible. The meat was so tender, the sausage was super juicy. The vibe of the place was fantastic and felt so homey. Next-door is the market where you can get baklava, cream puffs, cookies, a
Incredible spot. Stopped in while visiting Minneapolis, and ended up going another time the next day. Food is phenomenal, reasonably priced. Service was fast, and staff were very welcoming. Lots of seating available even when crowded. Truly one of a kind!
Sooo good. We try to stop whenever we're in Minneapolis. It's authentic and delish! Their borscht is incredible with melt- in- your- mouth pieces of beef. Pierogis are perfection no matter which filling you choose, and the huge cabbage rolls are just like Grandma used to make. You van get them in tomato or creamy mushroom sauce.
