Krispy Kreme

We stopped in here excited, but left with disappointment..... I had given a friend a ride for an out of town medical procedure. We were starving when we stopped in as she hasn't eaten for the procedure. Lady was not personable enough to be working at a Krispy Kreme. Krispy Kreme workers are like Chick-fil-A workers. Delighted to be there & working. Not this lady. You expect a certain vibe when walking into a K.K. It's part of the "experience". We did not get our usual K.K. experience in the Gastonia location, at all. Donuts were hard & lacked filling. We thought, possibly 2 day old donuts. No one wants to pay close to $20 for 12 days old donuts. She was nice in exchanging a few of them for us but that was it. We didn't appreciate attitudes because we didn't want to purchase donut

We ordered online 2 days before the scheduled pick up, which was Christmas Eve. We ordered 2 days ahead to ensure we would get the items we wanted. When we arrived to pick up our order, 2 hours before the store was scheduled to close, we were informed they didn’t have any of the donuts we ordered. There was the equivalent of about 2 trays of donuts available, and staff were cleaning as if they were closing already. I was informed that the store does not get the orders until soon before the pick up time is scheduled. If this is the case, it is an issue that Krispy Kreme corporate should remedy this.

I was coming in for a DoorDash and the white woman came in before me. I came in after her as I’m getting in line to pick up my DoorDash order. There’s a white old lady in the red shirt gonna look at me and tell me drive-through only and I explained to her that O The woman before me, literally walked in and she can’t go to the drive-through just like me she’s talking about some no drive-through only that has to be racist. I’m all right. Somebody need to fix the store and fits their employees. This is crazy. Will not be back here at all and I will be contacting HR.

No doubt about it, Krispy Kreme is the undisputed king of yeast raised donuts. The "Hot and Now" donuts are awesome and can't beat. On the other hand, the fifty-two minute wait from the door to the counter we experienced is enough to ruin patronage. As is the current pricing of menu items. Dear Krispy Kreme, Less is more. Drop the price of a dozen "Glazed" back to $9.99 and you will sell more of them and increase patronage numbers. Please and thank you in advance

This store doesn't ever have hardly any doughnuts online or they don't update their online stock . I try to call and an answering machine picks up. This place has given KK a bad rep . I wish that they would've just left the one on wilkinson boulevard charlotte , open instead of putting a burger king there. That was the best crispy cream around north carolina.
