Krispy Krunchy Chicken

Surprise! Hidden at the Circle K gas station is a fast food gem. The chicken is true to their name- crunchy outside and juicy inside, with a little bit of Cajun seasoning. Get the jambalaya. Plenty of Andouille sausage and chicken in it- not just a bunch of rice. Definitely worth a little detour!

We were topping up before getting to Coachella and this was right at the gas station. All items were hot and ready. We tried the chicken tenders and they were great! Perfect road snack when you're fueling up. Gas was a bit cheaper at this gas station then others we had passed. So glad we stopped as we got both fuels, for our bellies and our car.

Did not taste the food. Might be ok, but this is not a fast food restaurant. This is a gas station selling fried chicken out of a warmer case.

Best chicken in town! (: stopped by before our 9 mile hike.Chicken looks golden yellow just how it should. Means their oil this cooking is clean. Cashier John helped us. Yummy and fantastic.

First time ever at a Krispy krunchy chicken. Heard of it just never been. visiting the dinosaurs there from SD Came and came here after to pick up some chicken after the great reviews I saw and I must say for being at a gas station it's pretty tasty. Definitely lives up to the Krunchy part of it's name!! Although I'm not sure if it was just the hatch that I had or if they all taste like this, but I noticed that they had some shrimp on the menu and if you are allergic to seafood I would be cautious just because I was able to taste fishyness on the chicken batter so maybe they use the same oil for frying everything? Not sure. But just be cautious and probably would ask. Other than that. This place is great!
