Krispy Krunchy Chicken

My first time trying the chicken here and the skin was super salty. Meat inside was good though. But I won’t be coming back here. Not a good first experience. Biscuit was good and for some reason the rice and beans had a weird smell. I was told this place normally shouldn’t be this salty.

Got everything we wanted! Great fried chicken, potato wedges, mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese and a corn dog! Bonus..it's located inside a Thrifty store and we picked up some donuts too! Marie and Colin were very pleasant and helpful. Nice experience and pleasant surprise!

Good tasting food as usual from Krispy Krunchy Chicken. Staff were nice and the rest of store is really clean and tidy. Will return!

First time I tasted this chicken I had to ask what restaurant did this come from. It’s so different than any fried chicken I’ve ever tasted. We had to hunt this spot down. Girl chef in there was very nice and handed me my order with a smile! Cashier was friendly too. Saturday morning 8/2025. Inorder online for pickup and it was a breeze.

Oddly enough, the chicken actually tasted pretty decent for being “gas station chicken” lol. In comparison to Chick-Fi-La, KFC, Popeyes, etc, this would probably be at the lower end of that list due to the size of the chicken thighs and drumsticks, but yeah… It definitely doesn’t compare to Fire Wings and Wing Stop type places, but exceeds the standards of “gas station food”… I hope that makes sense. I give it a true 3.5, but will round it up to 4. If you’re ever in the mood for easy access chicken and you happen to be pumping gas, why not? Lol!
