KTown Octopus House (낙지하우스) is an authentic Korean restaurant that specializes in spicy seafood dishes, and it’s easily one of the best dining experiences we’ve had recently. The restaurant is small, with about eight tables, which gives it a cozy and intimate atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where you can really enjoy your meal without feeling rushed. The setup is simple but clean, and the staff is friendly and attentive. We visited as a family around 6:30 PM on a Saturday evening. Parking in KTown can often be stressful, but to our surprise, it wasn’t bad at all. We found a spot fairly quickly, which made the start of our meal that much smoother. The food was fantastic — flavorful, fresh, and perfectly spicy without being overwhelming. Every dish tasted like true home-style Korean coo

This place is tucked away in a residential area, so not many people know about this Korean restaurant. I was blown away by authentic taste of soybean paste (된장) and assorted fresh lettuce. We went back for the second time and tried mackerel ssam bap for 2: Perfectly grilled fish, fresh assorted lettuce, Ddenjang jigae and side banchon and kimchee. We tried spicy octopus last time and it was delicious! Pork bone soup was authentic and I loved perilla leaves and mustard flavor, but my husband was not a fan of strong flavor. But that’s how the authentic pork bone soup is made in Korea. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for authentic experience of K food.

Loved the signature dish, stir fried octopus (for the meal set w/ veggie wraps). It was spicy but addictive. The seafood pancake was delicious and perfectly made. The only thing we didn't enjoy as much was the pork backbone soup, pork was moist and fall off the bone but didn't enjoy the broth, too spicy. We were getting full from everything else. Came with plenty of side dishes, this can change with the seasons. Waitress was friendly and accommodating. Will definitely come back again.

My friends and I ordered the octopus ssambap, seafood pancake, and pork backbone soup. The octopus was seriously spicy but so so good. Can’t help but continue to eat it with the wraps. The seafood pancake was soft and had a good proportion of seafood. The pork backbone soup was our least favorite. Didn’t expect it to be so spicy but the perilla seeds didn’t provide a pleasant experience as there were large pieces each time we drink the soup. It made it oily too. The pork meat itself was tender and flavorful though. Overall, we would definitely come back and try the octopus again and the other dishes.

여기 꼭 와요! You must come here if you're in the area! Great portions and ingredients are so fresh too. If you like spice and seafood, 100% recommend the 낙지 쌈밥 /stir fry octopus with spicy sauce. I loved the side vegetables that were all so fresh too including kale and perilla leaf. The service was amazing and because it was not lunch rush time we got free fried fish -also fresh and nicely cooked. Side dishes are also plentiful with refills. No wait needed for a table we dined at 2pm on a Thursday. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys Korean food with great portions for sharing.
