KT's BBQ

I can't say enough good things about their food. I've eaten there easy 100+ times over the years and it has always been fantastic. I've had everything on the menu, and its all good. Top it off with a key lime. I'll definitely be back.

I had a mixed experience at this BBQ Restaurant. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the sides (beans and mac-n-cheese) were amazing. Oddly, the meats were not very good, which are the backbone of a BBQ Restaurant. The brisket was chopped and very dry. The ribs were beyond smoked, they were burnt and inedible. The hot links were the only redeeming meat, out of the three meats I ordered. I think with an overhaul on the meat preparation, this could be a good restaurant. Maybe I came on a bad day.

Purchased a very dry and tough pulled pork sandwich and two turkey bowls to go. Sandwich was so dry and tough, bbq sauce was so thin and watered down it did not help. Turkey bowls were dark meat only, very strong game taste. The stuffing in the bowl was wet and mushy. Not sure if this is a regular item on the menu or last weeks left overs. Inedible, very disappointing. Recommend MO’s BBQ across town.

I tried this place for dinner and ordered Mike’s basket with the beef brisket, coleslaw, beans, and the mashed potatoes. The meal was 15.99 not including tax or tip. I was disappointed by the portion size as well as the quality. The main brisket dish was a pulled brisket, it was dry and overall not very flavorful. Also for $16 there should’ve been much more meat. The coleslaw was good And the staff were nice. The place seemed clean and well kept. There is so much good food in Boulder, this place is not worth going to and is to expensive for what you get.

Meats were smoked to perfection! Sauce was hot and there were options for multiple flavors. The meats are the star of the show, but the sides are not to be missed! And unlike most things in Boulder, the prices are very very reasonable for what you get. 10 out of 10, hands down. I will most definitely be coming back!
