​My wife and I are long-time fans of Kumori, having visited almost all of their locations, including those in San Antonio. After our recent visits, we can confidently say that the Kumori at Uptown Plaza is the absolute best of them all. ​The food here is always on point and never disappoints. Whether it’s the freshness of the fish or the perfect seasoning of the cooked dishes, the consistency is incredible. The atmosphere was great, great place for a date as well. My reasoning for the 3 is the fact that when you purchase 2 all you can eat adult meals, if you're with a baby, even if they're not even 1, you can't share with them. You would have to buy a whole all you can eat pass for them too which i have traveled and not even at Disney world do they do that. It was an inconvenience solely for that fact for us. The portions of the all you can eat were great and you only gave 1.5 hours to eat. Great selection

This location is still the best one compared to others when it comes to Customer Service. Of course food and ambiance also. JC was our waiter today and he is awesome. Great vibe, friendly, and quick response time. We came from the Nolana location because there was a wait and low in staffing so we came here and we are so glad we did. Still 10/10, highly recommend 👌

I had such a great experience at Kumori Sushi & Teppanyaki, and a huge part of that was thanks to our server, Steph. From the moment we sat down, she was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. She knew the menu well, gave great recommendations, and checked in on us at just the right moments without ever hovering. Our drinks stayed full, our food came out perfectly timed, and Steph made the whole experience feel easy and enjoyable. You can tell she really cares about providing great service, and it absolutely shows. If you’re dining here, ask for Steph—she truly makes the experience next level. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Raul was our server and made our experience so much more enjoyable. Food was amazing, and very filling. $20 for the lunch price is good for all that you can get. Good quality food with great taste, until you’re filled up.
