Enjoyed a delicious Sunday night meal with the family and appreciate Tom and the crew’s attentive service. We especially enjoyed the ponzo salmon, scallops, fried squid, beef udon, salmon toro, and ponzo shrimp nigiri. They get very busy on Friday and Sat nights so Sunday or weekdays is when you go to avoid the crowds.

This was my first revolving sushi bar experience. With most plates having 2-4 pieces, this was such a fun way to try a variety of sushi. Just grab a plate that looks interesting, enjoy the food, and slide the plate into the opening. All revolving plates were $3.65 with other items available to order via touch screen at varying prices. The bathrooms were very clean, with bidets offering a premier Japanese experience. The staff spoke some Japanese phrases, such as "arigato gozaimasu" (thank you) which brought back fond memories of our vacation in Japan. We will be back again for another date night soon!

The staff was very kind and attentive, which definitely helped the experience. Some of the sushi was good, but others were just okay. The Philadelphia roll was honestly not good at all — even my daughter, who loves sushi, didn’t like it. My husband ordered the ramen, and the portion felt awkwardly sized. It wasn’t a full, satisfying portion, but it also didn’t feel like a side. Just kind of… in between. The robot experience is fun and different, especially for kids, but you have to grab your drinks quickly because it moves fast and disappears. Thankfully, a staff member noticed and helped us, which we appreciated. Just be aware and grab your items fast. Prices are very average. Don’t be fooled by the $3.65 per plate — it adds up quickly, and you’re paying that for only a couple of piece

A great addition to the Woodlands with the classic ambiance and vibes of the Kura revolving sushi bar brand. There is nothing standout about this location but it delivers on the quality of food and service you would expect to have from a sushi bar chain. It has all the classics on the cycle and to order - my favorite is always the hand rolls as they are made fresh and well portioned for the same price as the other plates. A great spot for occasions and groups. The seating is limited, and it fills up fast during rush hour but you can place yourself on the app waitlist in advance without needing to be at the location. Staff is friendly and courteous, including the robots delivering your drinks and wasabi.

Our family has different reviews for Kura: The Gluten Free member of our family was frustrated because there is no easy way to know whether or not a dish that is skating by on the carousel is GF or not. By the time you see the sign, look at the menu on my phone and figure out whether I can eat it or not, the item is LONG GONE! The quick and easy fix is for the signs on the conveyor belt to have a sticker that says "Gluten Free". The member of our family who studied Japanese and holds a college degree in Asian studies appreciated the cultural experience. The atmosphere was average. If the restaurant tables and areas had been wiped down better, I could have rated it much higher. We enjoyed welcoming every guest with a traditional Japanese welcome. Having our drinks delivered by a robot
