Kusshi North Bethesda Pike & Rose

Great service, fantastic food, creative sushi rolls. Good for a big group to get something cool and festive, such as their ‘sushi boats’. We had an absolute blast trying to finish the 4 foot yacht, it was an awesome night. Highly recommend giving this place a try, ideally with a group

Please ensure staff ask before clearing. My plate was pulled away while I was still holding my chopsticks and hadn't finished the side condiments (wasabi and ginger). I'm not picky, I just keep them for my last bite because I love to eat wasabi. It would be great if the Katsu sauce could be served on the side. the Katsu pork wasn't crispy because the sauce was poured over two stacked pieces.

I have been going to the resturant and ordering take out from it for years, and I am not sure if they changed management a few months ago or stopped getting quality food, but the last couple orders of tuna sushi have been soft and dark and squishy. Last week was the final straw, it was actually spoiled. I took one bite and spit it out. I figured I would continue to order dumpling and other items which I did tonight. I ordered four orders of dumplings, they dumped them in two containers and there was only 21 dumplings, not 24. The edamame was pasty and soft which means they were old beans or overcooked. I now have to find a new place for sushi. Its such a bummer, they used to be so good.

Cedric the bartender was phenomenal as always! He’s served us three times now and each time has been a blast! He’s personable, thoughtful, and courteous. We had the Salaryman, Lychee Cosmo, and Yuzu Mule and all were great! We got the hand roll off the happy hour menu, the Firecracker roll, and the Pinstripes roll and they were all delicious.

The food and service were both good. The Sake Bomb is worth trying if you are a beer drinker. This restaurant offers sushi, udon, shrimp tempura with vegetable just to name a few because that's what my party tried. There is street parking as well as garage parking. The garage parking is free up to two hours and this was on a Friday night. The outside atmosphere surrounding the restaurant is very attractive. I captured some extra footage of outside as well. I recommend trying this restaurant if your are ever in the Pike & Rose area.
