Kuya's Food Express - Filipino

My husband, our 3-year-old, and I stopped by Kuyas Food Express, located inside Peachtree Farmers Market. Since we’re from Tennessee, it was a 3-hour drive for us. The lady at the counter who took our order was incredibly friendly and helpful. All the food we ordered was absolutely delicious! We ended up getting more food to take home. We’ll definitely be back when we return to Atlanta!

Came here based off a recommendation from my wife's Filipino friend and decided to check them out while we were in Duluth. We asked the cashier, who was the owner, for some recommendations and she was very helpful in making some great choices. The food dishes were excellent! We got two entrees, an appetizer, and a Filipino drink. Tip: try adding some of the hot sauce (available upon request) and sweet sauce (dipping sauce for the Lumpiang) to the main entrees for extra flavor! I'm all for supporting local and small businesses and this place checks off all boxes of fantastic restaurants. Thank you to the owner and I wish your business well! 5 stars!

The main thing dragging down this overall score is Atmosphere. This was the original Filipino Restaurant in Metro ATL. It's counter service inside City Farmer's Market Food Court (formerly Assi). I've been here a few times over the years. My regular local dining companion and I considered prices a bit high considering this is counter service. I interacted with at least three different employees. First employee took my entree order of Pinakbet Veggies (Pumpkin, Japanese Eggplant, Bitters Melon, and Green Beans.) I did not realize this comes with Chopped Lechon Kawali on top (Roasted Pork Belly). So I ordered a separate order of Lechon Kawali as a meat entree. My friend ordered Meat Lumpia. Me and.my son went there bc we both missed our Filipino food and the halo halo..I spent $95 and drove 36 miles back and forth I don't care! Bc it's worthit..bc they are inside of the vhinse grocery store and we bought other ingredients for house food. We will back there again..

I’m very upset with my order this one of my go to places especially since I live an hour away. I go to the marketplaces once a month and im disappointed with the outcomes. The lady looked like she was rushing me when I ordered food which I spent almost $70 worth by the time I went to pick up my order she was gone and closed for the day. My food was just left bagged on table with no utensils at all. The losilong is my children’s favorite but I can tell it’s only been boiled. Y bother taking our order if u gonna leave it sloppy. Thank u will do my own losilog. Not coming back here
