My husband and I are huge fans of Asian food and this is hands-down one of our favorite places in the whole city. The bar and cocktails are fantastic, we usually order dirty martinis which are always spot on - so much so that we asked them for the exact dry vermouth they use and have tried unsuccessfully to replicate. We almost always order the delish dumplings in the black vinegar sauce. We also tried some of the items off of their new menu. But the best part about this place is the atmosphere - music is on point and curated by the owner and we always sit at the bar and chat with the manager and the bartender who always remember us even if it has been a few months, ask us questions about our lives, and give us fabulous service. Highly recommended.
Love this place! Ambiance and waiters are amazing, definitely recommend doing a reservation. If you like spicy food then this is the place for you. If your a wimp with spice go somewhere else! The crescent dumplings are a must as well! . The sichuan pepper is a taste you’ll always remember!
My girlfriend and I always love Kwei Fei for date night. We went last night to try the special January menu. The bartender recommend the whole fish. It was delicious. Best whole fish I have had. Always great service and vibes Ganbei!!!
First time here. We love Old Li in North Charleston which has authentic Chinese cuisine. So we thought we’d try this. Loved the lamb dumplings. The mushrooms very good. The beef sichuan and potato’s, oil was a little heavy. It was not the numbing spice we were expecting, but very tolerable. What was really disappointing was our server. He didn’t bother to explain the menu, or even the Bajui flight we ordered. When trying a new restaurant with a different concept, a server should be knowledgeable and excited to walk one through the menu, instead he just didn’t seem to care.
Soooo yummy!!! Me and my fiancé celebrated here and had a great time. The food is amazing and full of flavor and heat (loved the cucumbers and lamb noodles). High quality spicy food is hard to come by in CHS but Kwei Fei delivered. Our server Alex was welcoming and friendly :). Cocktails were good too. Will definitely be back!!
