Customer Reviews
The atmosphere is top notch. The honeycomb seating on the far left is so fun. The service is fantastic, everyone is nice. Our server was great. There was even a little robot that delivered some people’s drinks across the restaurant. The food was pretty good. I ordered dumplings and spring rolls for appetizers before my noodle bowls and they were okay. The dumplings were kind of dry I guess, and too black so my daughter who normally loves dumplings did not like them. The wrapper of the spring rolls was thicker like an egg roll so it wasn’t as light and crispy as the spring rolls I prefer. The popcorn chicken was not super hot when it came out so maybe that’s why I don’t think it was great. It was a little rubbery and dry. My kids did not like it and just ate the extra plan noodles we got.
From the moment you walk into the restaurant, you immediately feel excited just by seeing the ambiance, the décor, and all the beautiful details around you. The atmosphere alone makes the experience feel special. The service was excellent, and the food came out pretty quickly. Even though my friend and I had never been there before and took our time deciding what to order, the staff was very patient and kind with us. Out of everything we ordered, the absolute top item was the deep-fried gyoza dumplings. They were so good that we ended up ordering two extra portions to go! XD The only dish that really disappointed us was the Omurice. Unfortunately, it was quite bland for our taste. It came as a combo with matcha pudding. We honestly couldn’t even eat 10% of the Omurice, but we were still
I ordered a ramen with grilled chicken, but the bowl only came with three small pieces of chicken. The ramen and the broth didn’t have much flavor, and for the price I expected something better. Overall, it felt expensive for what you get. The service wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either, and unfortunately I don’t think I would come back. On the positive side, the bathrooms were clean, and I appreciated that the stalls had proper doors (not the typical ones with huge gaps where people can see in). The robot server was also pretty cool.
Kyuramen Knoxville is a great spot, especially the Honeycomb area—it has the perfect atmosphere for a date night. I went with my wife, and we had a wonderful experience. We ordered a mix of small-portion appetizers with about five different items, along with the chicken ramen and the spicy tonkotsu ramen. Everything was delicious, but the chicken nuggets really stood out—crispy, flavorful, and honestly one of my favorite bites of the night. The ramen was perfect for a cold winter day: rich, comforting, and very satisfying. They also serve house-made spicy radish, which was very spicy but incredibly good. It added a nice kick and paired perfectly with the ramen. Overall, great food, cozy vibe, and a lovely place to enjoy a meal together. We’ll definitely be coming back next time!
The atmosphere is SO cool. They have a huge wooden tree covered in little messages people have written on wooden tags. You can eat in a honeycomb pod. It was super packed when we went on a Thursday night, so we were only able to get bar seats, but it was cool watching the chefs cool and the lighting and design of everything was such a vibe. Their menu has so many unique options. We had a great time trying the honeycomb appetizer platter. The takoyaki was great, as was the shrimp tempura. We also split a bowl of the Tokyo Tonkotsu Shoyu ramen that came with a pork bar bun and a matcha pudding, all of which was incredible. And to top it off, the passion fruit boba tea was some of the best I've had. I would highly recommend coming here. It's a little expensive but it literally feels like walk
