LA 28 Peruvian Rotisserie

I gotta say this place is crushing it! Authentic food with fantastic flavors! As a Peruvian, I grew up with these dishes and La28 made it taste just like home. Highly recommend trying this place. If it’s your first time having Peruvian food, get a few dishes to try a bit of everything. The lomo saltado is my favorite, but the chicken is delicious as well! Definitely returning asap!

We had been eagerly waiting for this place to open, and it did not disappoint! The food is amazing — the pollo a la brasa is juicy and flavorful, and the Peruvian classics like lomo saltado, tallarín saltado, and chaufa taste authentic and delicious. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the drinks like Inca Kola, chicha morada, and maracuyá are the perfect touch. So glad to finally have this authentic Peruvian spot in town. I saw that LA 28 Rotisserie Chicken was having a soft opening and since Peruvian is my favorite food I made plans to stop by after church on August 24, 2025. They open at 11:00 and we were early. The owner, Chris , was kind enough to let us in. Don’t be fooled by the name because they have more than chicken. In fact , one look at the menu and I knew what I wanted. My favorite dish: Lomo Saltado!!!! They have a limited number of plates outside of the chicken but they have some traditional plates on the menu. Naturally I got the Lomo Saltado and it was excellent!! The beef was very tender and very flavorful. The staff is very friendly. The restaurant is clean. They have seating indoors and outdoors. Wow, this is one of those restaurants where the menu is simple because the food speaks for itself self. The chicken is moist and flavorful, but add a little bit of the sauce it comes with and boom your taken to flavor country. You must try this chicken before you become a vegetarian and maybe even if you are a vegetarian it will bring you back to your senses.
