La Bodeguita #2

I don’t understand how this place only averages 4.4. Fantastic flavor in the sauces. Fresh ingredients. Wonderful textures. I’m not typically a fan of beans and rice but with all the house sauces, I devoured them.

Small place, outside looks run down but the food and prices were really good! I ordered the fish tacos and it came with black beans, rice, chips and two salsas. Everything was delicious!

Hidden Gem for Breakfast! Can’t believe this place isn’t packed every morning—La Bodeguita’s breakfast is so good! The food is absolutely bomb, and the prices are super reasonable. Their coffee is excellent, too—smooth, rich, and just what you need to start the day. The outside patio is a major plus—easy access if you’ve got a stroller or bikes with you. It’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a great meal. Highly recommend checking it out for breakfast!

The food wasn’t great but it was good. I got the carne asada (good flavors and black beans!) and hubby got the chile verde (he did not like it - very bland). Outdoor seating is a plus! Chips and salsa were good. Give the Margaritas a hard pass. There are better Mexican options in the area 👏

Been here 3 times and really enjoy the food. The breakfast burritos, chile rellenos, and breakfast platters are all on point. The fish tacos could use a little improvement as they can be bland and not very impressive, but everything else is great. I won't knock them on stars over one item; I just hope they see this and make an effort to improve that option. Service is good and friendly as well. This place is one of the best options one will find in Guerneville or the Russian River area.
