I don’t know where to start. I have NEVER had an issue with La Brasa before but today was a total let down. The NY Strip was absolutely terrible. We asked for medium cook and we got overcooked and it was SO fatty. The fried plantains were still raw in the center. How do you mess this up?? The Garlic potatoes were still crisp. Completely undercooked. I have never had a terrible meal with this place but today was absolutely awful. Whoever cooked this meal had no idea what they were doing and rushed it. I’d rather wait at the drive through longer and get an amazing meal like before compared to being rushed and getting a terrible meal.
I had surgery so I am being blessed by my church on getting food every day either home cooked or ordered. Today I received grilled chicken, cilantro rice, garlic wedge potatoes and chicken noodle soup from this place I had never tried. Let me tell you everything was delicious! I am not eating rice and I couldn’t help myself with this cilantro rice. Wow, so good. I definitely recommend and will order my self next time or visit this place. Thank you.
Ordered fried rice with chicken and lomo saltado, the rice was undercooked, still hard, the chicken had a dusty texture. The lomo beef was hard and chewy and tasted like it was cooked on its own blood, only good thing in the plate was the plantains. Weird concept "order food, finish cooking it at home"
Went there with the family and we had a blast, excellent service and the food is amazing, the staff was very friendly if you want to spend a good quality time and dine in with the best food in town you have to try this place.
My experience at La brasa was dreadful. The fish was poorly prepared, undercooked with a weird texture and nowhere near what could be considered “fried fish”. The tostones were just as bad soggy and completely lacking crispiness expected from fried plantains. The fact that this meal was even served in this condition is unacceptable. It’s obvious that no effort or care was put into its preparation. I would not recommend this place to anyone and certainly will not be returning.
