La Cantera Pollo al Carbon

I only wanted a whole chicken but got the sides (tortillas, charro beans, rice) that come with it. The chicken was a little dry but very tasty. The verde sauce helped. I felt that the food was a little pricey but everything is pricey right now:

The chicken was juicy with a well balanced seasoning and an amazing smokiness that borderline added some sweetness to it.

Chicken was beyond delicious and one of the most flavorful I ever had. The rice and beans were cooked and seasoned pretty well. I ordered extra sides and can’t wait to go back.

We really enjoyed the whole chicken. We ordered number 1 on the menu. It came with tortillas, rice, and beans. The meal was about $24.00 which was pricey to me.

Didn’t have a chance to take a picture. Got the chicken quesadilla. No frills, 10 inch tortilla. Good amount of cheese. The CHICKEN! Damn good chicken! About a third an inch thick, chicken from edge to edge.
