La Cantina

I’m not exaggerating when I tell you we found our favorite Mexican restaurant in Texas. Prices are fair, cleanliness is excellent, service is great. They have a playground for the kiddos. The most important part is their food was amazing!!!! I’m Mexican and I have trouble finding good quality Mexican food! This is the place I tell! La comida está exquisita!

Tried dinner here for the first time with my boyfriend and his father. The service was great, the food was good, and overall it was a nice experience. My only gripe is that the prices are a bit too high for the food. There’s another place we go to where we can get the same dishes for way less. Also, I will say that the Chinese-style rice was confusing lol. Anyways, I do recommend it if you’re craving some Mexican food!

La Cantina Mexican Restaurant is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, vibrant, and welcoming beautiful décor that truly celebrates Mexican culture. The food was outstanding fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every dish we tried was perfectly seasoned, served hot, and presented well. You can tell quality and consistency matter here. The service was just as impressive. Friendly, attentive staff who made sure we were taken care of without ever feeling rushed. If you’re looking for great Mexican food, a fun ambiance, and excellent service, La Cantina is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone in the Katy area!

We have not been here since it changed ownership. We were last here when it was still La Finca. The difference is night and day. The freshness and quality of food really shines! The red and green salsas are the best we have had! It’s for sure the top Tex mex in the area. The flavors, seasonings and perfectly cooked dishes and fajita meats are spot on. We were very pleased! If you came here when it was still la finca, you will recognize several friendly servers. The service is great, the food is awesome!!! If you haven’t tried La Cantina yet, you are missing out!

Everything was very good. We got there late just before closing and they were accommodating. We got the 2 for 1 margaritas or whatever deal wad on Thursday and they were awesome. We (2) got a platter to share and it good. I'll definitely go back when I'm in Houston again.
