In Hershey, we hit this Mexican spot that was flat-out DAYUM good. The tamales were legit, and the burritos were massive and loaded right. We tried all the flavor of tamales, the al pastor and canitas burritos both were good but the flavor on the al pastor was excellent. We only made it through half, which just means leftovers are about to slap just as hard. Absolutely worth it. Five stars, no hesitation. Then across the little plaza there is a dessert place, so you can get a fresh warm cookie or finish your pallet with a guava cupcake. This restaurant spot is worth the visit.
What a great little Mexican restaurant. The beef birria burrito was huge and delicious. Loaded with tons of tender, juicy meat. Birria fries were loaded. The carnitas taco were very flavorful, but a little dry. Service was exceptional. Easy to get to from the medical campus.
The only way I could describe this place is Mid. It’s not bad, but it’s also not good. Their Horchata was decent but the waiter didn’t put in any ice or additional cinnamon. The shrimp quesadillas were bland and kinda dry. The carne asada burrito, I knew was not gonna be the best when I took the first bite and got all beans. Wayyyy too many beans, and the beans didn’t taste homemade. Also the carne asada was barely seasoned, and their rice was very plain. Other than that, it was a nice location and the staff were kind. Coming from a Mexican family (Jalisco) I have high expectations for Mexican food. But this was kind of upsetting. I will say it was better than El Rodeo or Rey Azteca, but definitely not up to par with Tres Hermanos or El Rancho. (Also kinda pricy, $5 for a Horchata is CRA
So tasty, and portions are HUGE!! Had to grab a to go box. The food was really heavy and flavourful, some of the best Mexican I’ve had!
Don’t walk here! You have to run here! I did have high hopes and I was not disappointed. The only place I could find nopales! The nopales burrito was so good, and huge! I started off with half but it was so good I had to finish it and then stuffed for the rest of the day, but no regrets. The pico was fresh and delicious, and I liked the fact that it was refried black beans and not pinto. They included a side of green and red hot sauce which was the perfect added touch! Beautifully assembled and burrito never fell apart. All the flavors complimented so well! Nice to have something that taste close to authenticity vs these “Mexican” restaurants.
