La Catrina Taqueria & Cantina

I had the pleasure of dining at La Catrina Taqueria & Cantina in Friendswood this evening. Great food, great service and great atmosphere. I highly recommend it!

You have got to try La Catrina. As soon as I walked in, I was hit with amazing colors and smells. The music goes along with the whole experience. The service is amazing and the people are so nice. The decorations are incredible and the food is so good. Come try this place and it won’t disappoint—I promise.

Place was half full. Took 20 minutes to get chips. Server keep saying I will be right back & it took at least 10 minutes every time. It looked like they had 2 or 3 servers for a small venue, but everything was super slow getting to us. Even took 15 minutes to get a check when we were done. We were there 1 1/2 hrs. & It was only because of the service was so slow. Food was only OK. I have had way better Posole elsewhere. I worked as a bartender at a restaurant about that same size. We would have been out of business fast if we were that slow. I normally don’t complain, but this business won’t make it with Luna’s across the street. Luna’s has better prices on food , more choices, way better service. We were really hoping for better from the reviews. Must of been from workers or family.

Came here for dinner. Super nice inside. Food was great and margaritas were amazing. Definitely recommend!
