Customer Reviews
Really good home style cooking. They have aguas frescas that are super yummy. The torta is a must, although a little on the spicy side. The soup was delicious. The green enchiladas were not made with tomatillo. It was a creme based green sauce. It is outdoor only. They do have patio heaters.
Cozy outdoor place to eat, lots of lighting and outdoor heating for the winter. Food is served on authentic Mexican dishware. Ordered the pozole and the steak milanesa. The gentleman that's took my order was really friendly and answered my questions and even let me sample a drink that I'd never heard of. The food was really good and authentic. The pozole tasted just like my grandma's, most dishes coat about $15 but the serving sizes are huge, enough for leftovers the next day
So everything on the menu is 15 dollars which sounds like alot but you get your moneys worth in food and service. It was cold today and my wife wanted menudo and my daughter wanted pozole Which they serve everyday along with 10 other soups they dont mess around its all very well made and they do not skimp on the ingredients we were served in clay dishes with real utensils, and thick paper napkins. Every detail was thought out. The service was fast too and it was clean. The two old ladies in the kitchen hopped to it and made everything quick and piping hot. Its outside but they have an awning and comfortable chairs. It doesn't look like much but it was fantastic!
Excellent food, had the pablano chicken with rice and beans, tried the caldo de queso and the gorditas. Very good flavor. Service was good too. A little warm outside but the swamp coolers kept it comfortable. Will definitely go back.
Came in craving chile rellenos. Left without them (they didn't have any). Everything else felt like a social experiment on how long it takes to buy chips and salsa. About 10 to 15 minutes to be acknowledged, another 20 for food, and a bonus 15 to 20 to get the check. All this with one person ahead of us and an otherwise empty place. Checked on twice total, once for chips and once to drop food. At $15 a plate and no kids menu, the wait really adds to the experience. Not in a good way.
